Brief summary of research over last five years
Koos Bosma is surveyor of 20th century architecture and city planning. In 1993 his dissertation about regional planning in the Netherlands 1900-1945 was published. Since that time he mainly published on housing, city planning and infrastructural planning, such as the civil engineering works of the Ministry of Watermanagement, the Channel Tunnel, the High Speed Trains-programs in Europe and the large European airfields.

The issues that have focussed his interest over the years are Theory of Architecture and City Planning, City Planning and Reconstruction of European Cities after World War II. More recently he started studying heritage topics.
